Convert subtitles from PAL to NTSC DVD (or vice versa)

Hi

How do you convert a .SUP file from from a PAL DVD to .SUP file for a NTSC DVD?

I want to convert the elementary streams (Video & Audio extracted by PGCDEMUX) from PAL to NTSC. If I use the original PAL .SUP file on the revised NTSC streams, it will be soddin' out of synch.

When converting PAL to NTSC, is it "25fps to 29.97fps" or "25fps to 23.97fps" ... or something like that !?!?

I heard you can use TMPGENC for the video & BeSweet/Goldwave for the audio. IS this correct?

How about the chapter points? How do I convert the CELLTIMES.txt (extracted by PGCDEMUX) from PAL to NTSC?

Hi-

Extract the IDX/SUB format subs from the IFOs using VobSub Configure. Convert from 25fps to 23.976fps using Sub Cutter. Both come with VobSub.

Convert back to SUP format using Sub2Sup.

To convert a 25fps Celltimes.txt to a 29.97fps Celltimes.txt multiply each frame number by 1.1988.
