According to kvcd.net, I should be able to fit a 120 min AVI onto a single CD as a KSVCD (352x576). However, ffmpegX reports that my AVI (97 min XVID 576x304 12bpp 25 fps 840.kbps) requires two CDs (1350 MB). Reducing the bitrate puts it into the red zone.
Is ffmpegX correct or can I safely lower the bitrate and get the results that kvcd.net mentions?
