.TS file convert to mpeg PAL!!!

Hi

Well i have used HDTV2DVD to convert my .ts file to mpeg. It works great butr it converts it to NTSC and i want PAL really! There is no way to change it. Are there any other programs i could use? Is anyone aware of any NTSC>Pal conversion without wobbling or jerking???

convertxtodvd ? maybe not the best method for ntsc to pal...but it supports ts.

Are there any other programs i could use?

DGIndex to make the D2V project file and an AviSynth script file to do the conversion (in one of 2 ways) and frameserve to your encoder.

Lets start again. Can anyone reccomend a programe to make.ts file straight to PAl mpeg2?? That way i dont have to convert NTSC to PAL! Thanks

There is no "holy grail" application for converting video between TV systems. Not when going from one format to another - not when keeping the same format.
Bite the bullet, search and read. The issue has been beaten to death already.

No no you missundderstand. I have some PAL .ts files that i want to make into mpeg2 s. The only software i can find that is any good is HDTV2DVD. This converts to NTSC though! I dont want it converted i just want it to make a PAL mpeg. THat program does not allow you to do PAl only NTSC. Surely there is a program that allows a PAL .ts to convert to a PAL mpeg. Its silly for me to convert it to NTSC for no reason!!

OK - Sorry! Well, I'd think manonos suggestion would work?
But then again - I'm pretty confident HDTV2DVD does PAL too - I'd be surprised if CrissyBoy made a NTSC only app.

So there's no conversion necessary? Your source is PAL and the destination is PAL? Then why:

Just because you thought HDTV2DVD converted it to NTSC first?

Anyway, I don't think you've done it using AviSynth yet. Or at least not done it right.

Me too! But I have added PAL HDTV support in SVCD2DVD - if that takes off I will add it to HDTV2DVD too...

How about this:

Demux the elementary streams with DGIndex.
Remux them to MPEG with Imago Muxer.
