I have an Mpeg file that is just too big for DVD. Is there a way to shrink it?

Well you have a couple of options. You could author the dvd larger than a single layer and then use dvd shrink to shrink it on the harddrive before burning.
Or you could use Tmpgenc Dvd Author 2.0. The 2.0 version now has a built in transcoder than can take a large mpg file and shrink it before you burn the dvd.
Another option is to use an mpeg encoder like tmpgenc and reencode it to a lower bitrate.Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -
