Whenever I try to permanently add subs to my video with virtual dub or virtual dub mod, the output video always has this grey digital clock thing going. its just numbers counting on top of the video. how do I make Virtual dub stop putting these numbers on my videos?

Which guide or programs besides VD are you using to add the subs? That sounds like some another program other than VD is doing this. And since this seems to be a subtitle question, it would be better in the Subtitle forum. Moving you.
