  1. Hi all,

i'm just beginning and have run into a problem right off the bat. i've just tried converting a divX movie to an MPEG1. I used tmpgenc and i followed the instructions on this site. I used the loaded template for Video CD (NTSC). The result is mixed. The sharpness of the picture is quite good, and the sound is fine. In higher motion scenes however, i find that there's a weird effect; it looks slightly jumpy, like there are frames missing or something. it really is only noticeable during scenes with lots of motion. If anyone knows what i can try to do, please enlighten me.

    thanks

  2. Just set the settings to high quality in Tmpgenc. It worked for me. Had the same probs as you.
