I've not actually paid any attention to the DL stuff because of the cost of media.
Well now I have something I need to backup onto a DL disk. Do I Just throw the files ripped with FAB into NERO and hit burn or is there something special I should do?

That's it... just bought my first batch of dual-layer disks myself...
I used FAB and ran it through DVD Shrink as well (DVD Shink set for DL disk, no compression applied). Probably an unnecessary step, but I've never had any problems with the output from DVD Shrink so...
Thanks. I'll keep it in mind.
I actually decided to go a different route on the movie I'm backing up today but that will help for the future.
The more I read here... I see I was pretty lucky that it worked. My players are pretty new and will play just about anything...
Looks like there can be problems with DL, especially when played on older players. I see Nero is not the program of choice for many who burn DL. Many seem to prefer CopyToDVD.
