Hey I just wanted to report back to you all of my over all progress about 15 minutes ago Nero express burned my DVD within 3 minutes I had tested the DVD just now and I only have 2 concerns.
1. (mini size problem) The video looks decent but is suffering just a little bit it looks like the video was captured from a old 1985 TV without cable.
2. (issue that needs to be dealt with) The sound is very good but the only problem the sound pitch is a little bit hyper then the original mpa file on my PC now.
I used gui DVD athur to make my mpeg files and about 1 hour later I sent the files over to rejig to demux the video and sound to DVD standards, 55 minutes later I turned the demux file into a DVD compliant .vob file and about 20 minutes ago I told nero express to burn the .vob files onto my DVD+RW
Is there a way I can fix both issues later on to where this won't happen again ?
I'm defragging my pc now so I can't use it for a hour or so.
MidnightMike
p.s.
I just wanted to say thanks to the people who helped me out with my earlier topics. even with a old computer I was able to do a DVD without nero vision 4 messing up or having to wait 10 hours.

Hey I have a problem used winavi to convert my avi mpeg2 and then used rejig to demux and author my dvd the quailty is fine but it can be jerky in the beginning also the video and sound are not matching properly. in my original avi and mpeg2 their perfect until authored with rejig.... has anyone else had similiar problem that I'm having ? last the sound pitch for the DVD is tuned up to high the file I have on my pc is normal.

Your biggest problem is that you are using poor quality software. WinAVI is known to be jerky and have sync problems with VBR MP3 audio tracks. If you must use a tool that hides all the details, use ConvertXtoDVD instead of WinAVI. It encodes better, and handles VBR MP3 better. It will have problems from time to time, however if you don't want to learn the correct way of doing it, this is your best option.
Your next problem is expectations. No fast solution is going to produce high quality results. There is a reason that McDonalds does not serve the same quality food as the High Street french resturant, and it isn't just a matter of price. Also, garbage in, garbage out is truest when working with video. If your source isn't top notch, then your ourput will suffer. I don't know what you source is, but if you are willing to feed it into a video shredder like WinAVI, I can only guess you don't have much respect for it. To me, that says downloaded source, and therefore substandard quality. By the time it has been resized back to a compliant resolution and re-encoded with a second rate encoder, you get "1985 TV" quality. Keep your expectations reasonable.
I don't understand your process at all. GUIforDVDAuthor outputs a compliant, authored DVD ready to burn. Why are you even using rejig at all ? If demuxing is required, it would be before GUIforDVDAuthor, not afterwards.
I suggest you find a nice, basic beginners guide for avo to DVD, and follow it carefully. Avoid rubbish like WinAVI, use Nero for burning and nothing else, and see how you go.Read my blog here.

1. The source isn't downloaded I got it straight from a 3 year old tape that was in perfect condition
2.I do have respect for my video I never knew avi had several problems with converting video
