DVD does not play.

Hello everybody,

Please help with DVDRemake.

I’d like to create a backup of a DVD movie without menu (just the movie) and without subtitles and with English audio only.

I have created a backup and deleted from the backup all files but VOBs and created new IFO with IfoEdit.

Then in DVDRemake, I deleted all audio tracks but English in Main Video Title Set 1 (there is only this one, nothing else) and disabled all SubPicture Tracks. After that, I have exported the DVD.

When I burnt the edited movie onto DVD-RW and tried to play it back on my standalone, it just starts showing “Columbia Pictures” and then stops and does not go any further.

What did I do wrong?

Going overkill with tools on such a simple task.

Easiest way to achieve the same end reliably is to open the disc in DVD Shrink, hit the Re-Author button, drag just the main title to the lefthand pane, untick an extra streams you don't want, then hit Backup. Much easier than what you are putting yourself through.
