  1. I have 6 DVDs. I need to get them into Premiere Pro so I can edit the video footage from the DVDs. How can I convert the DVD footage to AVI so the footage holds up in quality and I can easily edit it in Premiere?

  3. I have tried that, however I get some weird flickering when I do the frameserve option and use the video in Premiere.

Load VOB(s) in VirtualDubMod (possibly joining them first with vobmerge), save as DV AVI (or uncompressed AVI is disc space allows).

Is there a more detailed tutorial for the method you described? I'm not sure how to get the VOB(s) from the DVD.

When I load the VOSs into VirtualDubMod, how do I save them as a DV AVI?

Make sure you have the Panasonic DV codec installed. Select that under Compression. Save.

I edit with Canopus and I already have that codec installed. Will that work?

Hmmm, then how did you try the frameserve method, you would have had to have ripped the VOBs for that method too?
