I have a few .Mov files that I need converted, so have been trying a few programs out to see how they do.
2 are Cucusoft, WinAVI demos. I installed K-Lite codec pack & they work with an old avi file I have. However when I try to convert one of the .Mov files, it converts okay to VCD, however there is no sound, just video.
When I launch it, a message immediately comes up on screen which says:
'Warning Input Video has no audio stream or need an audio codec."
It then says to go to their support page, however that's only for registered users. If I knew it would work, then I'd buy it straight away. However don't want to pay incase they can't help & being that they don't offer refunds, then I can't afford to throw away money.
WinAVI doesn't say this but still it doesn't work. As with the other prog only Video but still no sound.
I've also tried using GSpot, AviCodec & VideoInspector, but they don't work with the Mov file correctly. So can't get anything from them. So I was hoping that somebody could offer advice on what audio codec I should try to get it working etc.
Thanks for any help, James..
