I record DVB to mpeg2 and have had many issues with audio sync etc
Mpeg-vcr scans and detects problems in GOP and PTS < (could someone explain what that is)
When i try to save my repaired mpeg file it offers a choice of audio compression. I'd like to use Ac3 but it is greyed out so it cannot be selected.
Does anyone know why this option is not available?

drewzor,
I have used the new product of womble namely MPEG Video Wizard DVD. It has added full AC-3 encoder support. Maybe you should try this.
Wish to help you. -
Thanks I'll give it a try.
I would also like to know what software is best used for cropping mpeg2?
