This site is so helpful, that I thought it would be good to post this latest solution just in case someone else runs into same trouble.

Since Sorenson won't take a MP2 video file. You just rename that file to MPG. Then it will import it.

Now to get the WAV file in, first you need Belight GUI and and BeeSweet downloadable from DOOM 9. This will convert the WAV file straight to MP2, which you then relable to MPG as well.

In SORENSON you right click the video file and SELECT LINK AUDIO. Now for some strange reason it will not play the audio in the preview window, but upon compression the final file will have the audio and video Synched no problems.

Earlier on my problem was getting a VOB file into Sorenson which I had found a solution for.

I now wonder if I could have just done it by Demuxing the VOB into MP2 and AAC and renaming to MPG. Then converting the audio to another format Sorenson would take and linking it. Oh well, it would have a shorter method than what I eventually did.
