Hey guys, When I want to capture footage from my camera (DRC TRV 25) In premiere, I open the capture window, play/pause/rewind whatever until I find the clip I want to capture, and then capture it fine. But If I want to capture another clip, the capture window doesn't work. I can hit play and it says playing, and the time will go up and whatnot, but the preview will stay black, and if I try to capture anything it says no frames were detected.
It plays and everything on my camera fine but not in the window, I've never had this problem before, rebooted my system, tried again and I have the same problem again.
Anyone know what it is?
I run Windows XP (SP2 I think)

Perhaps a bug? Do you have the correct device hooked up int the device list?..Can you try to close out the capture window, and hit "F5" to start over?

I use Premiere Pro for editing, but find WinDV to transfer miniDV cam footage easier, simpler, more reliable etc. Give it a try...
Alternatively, if you're determined to solve the problem, post / search in the forums at www.wrigleyvideo.com/videotutorial . There's some interesting tutorials there too. There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.
Carpe diem.
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room.
