I have dubbed some video from the hdd on the jvc drmh20 dvd recorder to the dvd drive which is built in and then finalised it. It reads perfectly well in the dvd recorder.

However when i put the disc in my computer and open up dvd decrypter it says that the disc is empty. I have a pioneer and btc dvd drive.

Any ideas? I am using good plextor media as well and have tried some others.

  2. Did you burn the disk as a dvd-video disk or a dvd-VR mode disk. The first is very compatible, the second is a lot less so.

It could be related to using Windows 2000.

  5. When you say decrypter says it is empty, do you mean it shows no files in file mode?
