Hi, I have DVD recorder Magnavox MWR10D6. Do you think is possible to rip the DVD+R disc without finalizing it in the dvd recorder? I tried, but the computer doesn't detect anything in the DVD.
In the manual, in order to use the DVD disc in the PC, I need to finalize it, but i don't want to finalize it becuase I didn't finish the entire DVD. I just want to rip a "three minutes commercial" , that's all.

When i've had disc's i could not get to finalise in my standalone dvd recorder i have used IsoBuster pro to extract video from them.
It seem's to be the only thing that can read them.
Otherwise you could wait until your done with your disc finalise it & then get your files off it. -
