    Are there any programs that will, without re-encoding anything, de-multiplex a vob into a mpg (or m2v) and its various audio tracks (wav)?

    Argh. I ignored this thread at first because I didn't want to look like I was playing favorites (though clearly, Mij, nobody makes me laugh like you do).

    The program you're looking for is called VOBrator, I think. Not sure where to find it, but it's the sort of thing doom9 would carry.

    SmartRipper does it to just use stream processing and extract to file. Check out the link below.
