  1. I have 3 Lite-On DVD drives in my computer is it possible to add a codec that would allow them to read a DVD RAM disk?

    1 - LWD-811S
    2 - LTC-48161H
    3 - SOHW-1633S

  2. NO_!,,you need a drive that will play them, LG are the best known for this.

    say whaaaat?

    I recall several years ago using a panasonic dvd camcorder that recorded to mini dvd-ram discs. I installed a driver on my machine and was able to copy the .vro files to my pc for editing.

    Either it was not truely dvd-ram disc or your drive would read dvd-ram disc's.
    Maybe you needed something to read the vro files on the disc.

    It is a totaly diff. disc so the drive has to be physically capable of reading ram disc's.
    It would be like trying to read a dvd-rom on a cd only burner.
