Hi. I plan to make a dvd and I am going to use snagit to capture video content that plays on my computer monitor. I was wondering what refresh rate I should set my monitor to in order for there to be no flickering when watched back on an analog or hd tv via dvd? Unfortanately snagit does not have a very precise fps. It can do 29.9 but not 29.97 fps. So I was planning on setting it to 30 fps and the monitor refresh rate to 60hz. When I make a ntsc dvd with this footage, do you anticipate problems when viewing it back on regular tvs using these numbers?

Monitor refresh rate shouldn't matter. Snagit doesn't capture at a fraction or multiple of the refresh rate, it captures at the chosen fps.
