  1. Someone gave me this dvd, where its got a mistake for a few minutes in the video. I don't have access to the original source files. So I was wondering if someone could tell me the best method of breaking down the dvd to its raw files, removing the mistake, rejoining the files inbetween the mistake and then rebuilding the dvd

I should say it doesn't have a menu, just video files.

    Thanks.

Look in the tools section for mpg editors. There are afew around that will allow you to cut the video without having to re-encode it.

  3. Hi-

Assuming the DVD is good, you can do this in VobBlanker without taking apart and putting back together the DVD. Open it in VobBlanker. Click on the movie. It'll show up in the lower screen. Double-click on that. In the new screen that opens up you'll see it all laid out by cells. Find the part you want to cut by using the Prev/Cut. Once you've got it, cut out whatever you want. Hit Apply, Give it a Destination, and Process.
