  1. i have yet to figure out how to burn a video_TS folder? Any ideas on a good program that makes it easy. i use convertXtoDVD but if i dont burn the disc at the end of the session, it leaves me with Audio & Video_TS folders, but if i try and burn it after it just makes me convert it all over again?

Well i use NERO alot for VIDEO_TS folders.

A free way i also use is ImgTool to make an ISO then burn the ISO with ImgBurn.

ImgTools calls Nero, so less work for you.

The version i have has DVD Decrypter & ImgBurn listed but i don't know if you could set it to bring up nero to burn an image.

And it's not really less work when you could just dump the files into nero and burn.
No extra iso file ontop of the original files.

Actually, you don't even need to bring up ImgTools. It's integrated into Explorer. Say your path is like

    c:\movies\a great movie\video_ts

Just right-click on "a great movie", select "Burn with ImgTool". When ImgTool comes up, put a blank DVD in the drive, and hit BURN, and wait a few minutes.

If its already converted, why does it ask you to convert it all over again when burning? I read about DivXtoDVD earlier on and it came highly recommended by another poster. Im hoping to be able to sit down properly this evening and give all this a go.

I use convertXtoDVD extensively and it has never reconverted my TS folders. If ytou indicate that it should burn thet resulting folders, it simply does it. I assume you are converting from some sort of format such as Divx, Xvid or .mov to DVD? Once it has TS folders there is no other conversion to be done.

In my case it is all AVI files we will be converting so they can be burned and watched on TV via DVD player.

The easiest recourse is to just buy a Player that will play Divx / Xvid formats and that's all you will need.

Nurm several movies to a DVD as DATA and watch them. No conversions needed.
