    Hi All

Was just wondering if there is a way to edit the icon that is used as the cursor in my DVD menus. At the moment I have modified the 'Radiant Menu.psd' which is supplied with Encore - although I cant see how to change to arrow icon which is used as the cursor when selecting chapters.

    Any thoughts?

    Cheers

There is no cursor on a DVD menu, just subpictures. All you have to do is find the ones that make up the pointer. I don't use Encore, so I don't have access to the psd file that you talk about, but I use photoshop to create menus for DVD Lab Pro. Somewhere there will be a layer, or series of layers, that relate to this object.

gunsl1inger is correct. If you open an Encore menu in photoshop you can edit the highlight of a particular button.

You should be able to open photoshop directly from Encore. I think it's Edit -> Edit in photoshop. (Sorry, I'm at work and don't have Encore in front of me)

In photoshop each menu button is its own layer set. Find the layer set for your button and expand it. The layer that is the highlight of the button will have a name starting with (=1). Change that layer and you change the highlight. In this case you'd delete the picture you don't like and add the one you want.

I hope that makes sense. If not let me know and I can clarify.

    Hi guys

Yep, worked out the menu is just a series of layers but I was having real difficulty in finding the layer that applies to the pointer. All sorted now though.

    Cheers
