    ok this sux! I have noticed some transelation errors in an .avi file that i whant to correct!
    problem is? it seams i cant extract the subs? i have tried various avi extactors but they dont find the sub? or is ther possibly no subs in the file? all i can get is the video and audio file?

    are they burned in the video file? in that chase? how do i get them out?

    anyone out there how can help me on this mather?

    If it is just an avi, then yes, they are probably hardsubs, part of the video itself. Can you fix it - possibly - with a lot of effort and poor results.

    You will need a program to extract the subs via OCR (Optical Character Recognition).

    You will then have to correct the subs, as OCR can have a relatively low success rate.

    Then you will have to use a delogo filter to remove the existing subs so you can overlay your new ones.

    Later versions of SubRip can extract the subtitles to text, but you can't remove them from the AVI.

    -.- thx guys but i think i'll just w8 for the dual audio version off the anime! i'll try and mess the ones who made the anime and see if i can get somewhere there! ^^; thx for teh help anyway!
