Some weeks ago I added to my HTPC a Hauppage HVR-1300 card. It has high quality performaces (analog and digital TV, FM radio tuner, video recording ....) but the included Win2K software is simply awful.
Does anyone know another more friendly software for this card supporting every feature?
To be taken into acount: I use my 4:3 29" 50Hz TV as monitor.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

I like GB-PVR, see http://forums.gbpvr.com/showthread.php?t=9611&page=4&highlight=1300 for your card.

Thank you very much. I will try it. In the past I tested several media center type software and I did not become fully satisfied with any of them. They often forget many TV set are not yet high definition monitors but conventional NTSC/PAL CRT!!

I agree. This is why I asked for software for HVR-1300, not for media center functionality.

MyTheater can became great if your HTPC centers on a DVB/S card.
If not, it is GB PVR or Media Portal (which I'm not able to make it work with w2k)
Someone must try Got All Media 5.0.0.2 and report about it. It looks a promising program
