XD memory card recovery

I have a friends XD memory card here and she formatted it and didnt mean to, and then, if that wasnt bad enough, they took 4 pics with the camera. Now she says she has some very important pictures on there she needs recovered and Im wondering if there is a program or some sort of way to get those off the card?

Depending on how the camera formatted the card(quick erase/full format), some pictures may be recoverable. Here are some links to some freeware utilities.

Formatting is something most of us try to do when we are unable to access some of the pictures or videos in the memory card. This is one way of losing those photos.
