ffMPEG: does it perform both, demultiplex and multiplex ?

Morning everyone

Just a general question. I'm trying to gather an much info on the
subject of Demuliplex and re-multiplex processes.

And, I'm looking for command-line tools that will either offer both
functions or, each will one of the other. And, I have been researching
ffMPEG for its vast arson of functions.

ffmpeg != ffmpegX
The first is a command line tool, the latter is a Mac OS X GUI for ffmpeg and several other video tools.

Ahh, thank's to the heads up. I realized that, too, but I was hoping
that since it was related to ffmpeg, that someone would know if the
answers were available.

Ok then, I will try my inquiry in the programming area. Sorry ta bother
