    i dl a movie from limewire some live beatle stuff and when i inport it to imovie it does inport with no sound but if i play it on quicktime it works. also the file format is mpg. how could i inport it with sound?

    If you convert the MPEG clip to DV first, then iMovie will import it with sound.
    I would use ffmpegX or MPEG Streamclip for the conversion, but I'm sure there are other good tools as well.
