Problem on converting file format....

Hello everybody,

I wonder if someone's know a way to convert to mpeg 2 in MAC.... I've intslled the FFMPEG X, but when I'm conveting the file, or give me an error or nothing happens. I have to buy the apple mpeg 2 playback?
To explain betterm I'm trying to convert a MOV file generated in Flash 8, to a mpeg 2 file....
Please if someone know how to do this.... give me answer, it's extremly important to me!!!

If you're having trouble with FFMPEG X give MPEG2 Works a try. Also, it is helpful if you describe the error message you're getting.

The Apple mpeg2 Playback doesn't allow you to export to mpeg-2 it simply allows you to watch mpeg-2 files within Quicktime. The mpeg-2 export option is something completely different that comes with FCP and DVDSP.

I agree with Frobozz, for simply single file conversions I usually use MPEG2 Works.
