Does anyone know if a web designer, graphic artist, and computer SFX/animators actually earn enough for a living? I'm currently looking for a major and those few are the ones that I'm most interested in. I have a lot of experience creating websites and designing web designs but the thing is if anyone would even hire a web designer since many people can do it themselves nowadays via drag-n-drop.
Computer programming and computer science are probably the ones that will earn more but I'm not a tech person and is hard to maintain my attention over maybe 15 minutes.
Any insight into these (or other) majors would be appreciated.![]()

Take business or at least a couple of courses in it. There are people that make a living in every imaginable job and many that you would never think of.
Attitude, creativity, effort, skill and no doubt luck all play a part in it. I know a couple of guys that have done their own thing and worked for others and back and forth.IS IT SUPPOSED TO SMOKE LIKE THAT? -
Sure. I've known people that make $90,000 or more per year. But I know far more that barely make higher than minimum wage doing it too.

Maybe more important than making the big bucks is living within your means. I see folks living happy on 35 grand and folks that make over a hundred that don't have gas money.IS IT SUPPOSED TO SMOKE LIKE THAT? -

Plus the fact the drag and drop makers blow donkeys.
