Buring a part disc with Nero

I have a music mapp on 14 Gb. and i want to burn the whole mapp with nero

splittet on 3 DVD disks. and i guess thei will be part discs that require eatch other? if that is possible with Nero 6?

i consulted the manuall. but its so damn big so i could not offcorse find any info how i create
a part disk..its oviosly not a regular data disc i shall use anyway

so what burning type shall i use i ask..to save some time?

I thought there was a data backup option in Nero just for that purpose and it automagically split the data across multiple dvd's. You won't be able to use the data in dvd format, but it will be backed up.

As far as I know Nero 6 has no splitting capability. I am not sure one of those splitter programs can work on something this big any way... Hmmm...

ok i see...is there any other-way to burn 14 Gb of Mp3 files somhowe and get the whole mapp in one,without having to fill upp 4.5 gb on eatch dvd manually you know..?

From the Nero webpage: For backup duties there is BackItUp. Although basic, it does allow disk-spanning compression and scheduling even if the interface is a little frustrating at times


It is part of the Nero Suite and appears to be included in version 6 and 7.
