I am having a problem. I feed my DVDs into MacTheRipper, and they come out fine. But when I feed the VOD files into ffmpegx, it doesn't always work. Most of the time I have things popping out in Spanish! Is there a way to secure it so that I'm not bothered with this Spanish stuff?

Do you get Spanish audio? Maybe you see Spanish subs? Or this just might be about Spanish words in the ffmpegX interface. Please be precise.

I get Spanish audio. Sometimes it comes out in English, but more often I get Spanish. Occasionally I hear other sorts of languages, but that's really rare. What I need help with is how to make sure that they stay in English.

When encoding with a VIDEO_TS folder as input, the desired audio track is selectable in the Audio tab. If tagged correctly, it should contain language information.
When encoding from a single vob file, the audio track is only identifiable with a number. To make sure you selected the right audio track before encoding, you can preview the settings with a selectable start time (in case the spoken language start a few minutes into the movie). Press Return or Esc to exit the mplayer preview.
