im sorry to ask this newbie question.. but how do u link text to an audio stream.. like just make it play a song when u click on the text instead of playing like an episode.. im trying to make the dvd play the song of a cd when u click on a certain title of the song.. i really appreciate the help thx

i dont think my dvd is audio only.. it has episodes on it. i just wanted to put the audio cd thing as an extra feature

You can put is on a menu as background music, with the menu set to play through once. That would be the simplest method. Otherwise you have to create blank video to go with the songs.
I did somethig similar once on a restoration. I have the video with very poor audio, and a recording of the audio done seperately (just the songs). I was able to replace the songs int he video with the audio only versions on all but two cases. In these cases, the arrangements were sufficiently different to the originals that I could not get the to sync. I cleaned up the original as much as possible, then added the audio versions as bonus material. They were done as plain menu pages with a little explantory text.Read my blog here.
