    I've burnt an SVCD (encoded with TMPGEnc)using Nero but I'm not able to fast forward or rewind when playing the SVCD on my DVD player
    I've tried to use the scandata.dat file from this site but it doesn't help

    I think this is a bug with Nero and SVCD only, Ive seen this post several times and I myself HAD this problem. Whenever I hit FF it would actually RW, LOL, a few seconds then repeat that same set of frames over and over. I turned to VCDEasy, made an SVCD image (bin file) with PBC playback OFF, burn that image with Nero to disk...and now my FF/RW work fine...I hear the new upgrae for Nero fixes this problem.
