    Is it possible to encode all four avi's in a single VIDEO_TS folder for DVD burning?
    Or do I need to encode the avi's to mpg with the srt file burned into it (not selectable) and then use a program like sizzle to record all four avi's into one DVD?

    major, I am not sure that I understand your answer.
    Certainly it is possible to do this without writing the srt files to the video file.

    If you use selectable subtitles, Sizzle won't support them, so you can only fit one file, unless you use DVD Studio Pro to author.
