  1. I dont know if this topic has been here before .. I couldnt find it though. If it has then im sorry.. But..

    I have just installed TMPenc, and want to convert a downloaded DivX.avi.

    After having load VCD(PAL) and all that. I start.
    But the only thing i get in the .mpg is sound and a black screen..

    Does anyone know what i must do .. Thank you in advance!
    I have really been searching for this answer, so i hope one of you are able to help me.

    P.s: If it helps knowing it, my CPU is a AMD Athlon XP +1600, and my TMPenc version is 2.02 i think.

  2. Hi Redemption,

    Try the following:

    Goto Option->Environmental setting, then to the VFAPI plug-in tab, select 'DirectShow Multi-media File Reader', and then right click to select the option 'Higher priority' (may need to do this a couple of times until DirectShow becomes the top priority!).

    I encountered the same problem after installing a newer version of TMPEGEnc, and came across an e-mail that suggested this solution. After applying it, everything was fine again.

  3. also most d/led divx are NTSC not PAL, mabbe u could try that

    And ultim, thx .. ill try that

    But now ive got a new problem .. Dont know if it was only this one movie .. (have only tried one ) but there is a green color in the top .. And as the "frames" or "picture" on the movie moves, the green color kind of crawls down and mixes with some of the movie ...

    How can i correct this ?

  5. and i also wanna join in on this newbfest.... how come when i burn some VCD samples i see green bars on the sides of the TV screen? WTF is that shizz?
