Could mean that some of Nero's filters aren't registered, could also be a lack of 3rd party filters to complete the graph. Can you play the file ok?

I've seen the same error. In my case it was PowerDVD giving the error. I had burned the disc (a Ritek G05) with DVD Decrypter using a DVD Shrink image. Right at the end of the burn, the burner (a Pioneer 107) drive chamber mysteriously opened, then immediately closed. PowerDVD gives me the error and then after clicking OK, no longer recognizes there is a disc in the drive. The disc also fails on my Panny RP62 player. Oddly enough, I could then turn right around and sucessfully burn the image using Nero.
I decided it was probably some sort of media error or incompatiblity, but was never able to conclusively track down the problem. It never happened with any sort of reproducible regularity.
