Hi,
I have 2 files each one of 700 MB and would like to create a DVD. Usually I use MPEG encoder and then TMPGenc DVD autho but in this case I don't know how to use them.
Any EASY suggestion? Is that possible to put two 700 MB in one single DVD?
Thanks a lot in advance/Fabio

Why won't your usual method work?
You could use VirtualDub to append one to the other. Open the first file in VirtualDub, then go to File and select "Append AVI Segment" and point it towards the second file. Set both audio and video to "Direct Stream Copy", then go to File and save it as an AVI. Provided it is possible to append them, you'll get one big AVI file out. Put that through your usual encoding process to get one long video. -
Thanks a lot but a message appears:

Use avicodec to determine what is missing, but chances are you don't have the latest Xvid codec install, but something like FFDShow. You can therefore play it in WMP, but not process it in virtualdub.

Another option is a realtime option. If you have a realitvely slow computer and encoding from avi to mpeg takes awhile you can use a capture card.
Simply hook up another computer to the video and audio in on your capture card and record to a dvd profile in mpeg2 mode. Then you can author right away since it will now be in mpeg 2 after the realtime capture. Though you will lose 5.1 audio if you do this method. You'd have to split the audio off the original avi and mix it in with the new mpeg. Though you may have synch issues unless you can match the realtime recording of the avi to the exact time of the avi on the new mpeg.Donatello - The Shredder?
