    I'm trying to convert AVI to MPEG in order to put it on DVD but TMPGEnc Pro is converting, but then it converts for like 5-10 minutes of nothing when the video file is actually over. Then there is no audio on the MPEG file.

    Does anyone know what is wrong and how I can fix it?

    Try increasing the direcshow multimedia file reader priority at option-> environmental setting ->VFAPI Plug-in so that it's the highest.

    It was working, now it freezes up at 80% which I thought was the one file, but it does it on other files too. So I don't know.
