I want to re-author a compilation of karaoke songs recorded in a DVD+RW. It already has its own menu to select what I want to play. Problem is there are some songs that I want to delete and/or trim. I also want to re-arrange the sequence. I want a similar menu for the new compilation.

Do I have to create a separate track for each song and title so that when I go to Menu creation, the songs' thumbnails/icons will automatically show in the Menu. I also want the beginning of each song to be the chapter points. Sorry, I might be misreading the guides because I could not find anything that addresses this Menu creation in detail.

    Thanks.

    Yes.

It sounds like you may have VOB files on your disc - in which case you'll need to "Add DVD Video" instead of "Add File". Once added, you can then set the start and end points allowing you to trim the footage. Access this by selecting the added footage and click "Edit".

I'm basing this on version 1.5 - other versions may be different.
