Hey everyone
I'm planning to set up my PC as a media center with a big screen tv using my video card's DVI output and the TV's DVI or HDMI input (I haven't decided on the TV I'm going to buy yet)
The problem is, the TV and computer are probably going to be 30 feet apart, I read somewhere that using DVI and HDMI cables over long distances will degrade the quality, would that be a factor over approximately 30 feet?
If so, is there a better alternative anyone could suggest?
Thanks

30 feet is probably OK, but go with a good quality cable to be on the safe side. Here's a few, but I've never ordered from them: http://www.ramelectronics.net/html/DVI-hdmi_cables.html#std
You could look around a little on the internet, or someone here may have some links to other cable suppliers.
