Imation, in my experience, is top-notch. I have CD-Rs going on 10 years. Of course, they may not be made by the same company as the older stuff. I would avoid any consumer product made in China, especially media.
I just bought a 100 pack of Memorex CD-R's, made in China at Office Depot ($14.99). I haven't opened it up yet. Now they have 100 Imation's made in India for the same price.
One thing I hate about the Memorex is the little squares all over the top of the disc. I know it won't effect the quality, they just bug me.
Is the Imation CD's made in India better then the Memorex made in China?
I like the Clean (No squares), shinny top of the Imations. Can anyone add some input I can consider in taking back the Memorex? Thank you,
Chris.

The CD is from MBI.
I would pick that over any Chinese junk.
