    Hello

I have some PC games installed on my Windows XP Pro system and had family members not know what they are and ended up uninstalling them therefore losing all my saved data. I was wonering if there was a way for me to install a game without having it installed in the other profiles. I wanted it just to show up in my file.

If you are using individual ids for each person who has access to the computer, create a folder under your id, install the games in the new folder. Then right click on the folder, select the sharing tab at the top and select the make folder private option. That should help.

My solution for this on my computer.

Im the admin of the computer. I created a partition for just game installs, then on the security tab removed all users permissions to the drive. So nobody can even access the drive except me.

But why is this in the NEWBIE folder, instead of the "Off-topic Computer" folder?
