    Anybody have an idea how to get rid of the grey line that i've skillfully arrowed? The document is one of Office XP's CV templates.

    Click on VIEW > HEADER AND FOOTER. This should bring up a placeholder for both (you won't use either).

    Click on the line. Delete.

    Close HEADER AND FOOTER toolbar.
    ICBM target coordinates:
    26° 14' 10.16"N -- 80° 16' 0.91"W
