Chrissyboy,
My copy of SVCD2DVD seems to have changed the fit to DVD size from 4.36 to 4.37GB. I don't know if I did it or even if that is supposed to be changeable. Anyway, when it comes time to burn, DVDDecryptor stops because the iso files are now too big to burn. Any way to change this back to 4.36?
Thanks,
Mark

Thanks for the link to the thread that relates. So I would add the value to the registry and subtract 1MB from 4370 to get back to 4.36GB? If so, that is great, I will give it a try. That doesn't explain why this value has changed to 4.37 though. I didn't add anything to get to 4.37. I have a copy running on a 2nd computer, same version of windows and it's fit to DVD value is 4.36. Why the difference? Why should I have to go into my registry and edit a value to get back to the value it is supposed to be in the first place?
Thanks,

No - you need to add around 10MB. the 4.36/4.37 issue will be down to rounding... by adding another 10MB to the value in the registry you are adding another 10MB as a safety margin (incase the calculated size over shoots.)

Chrissboy,
I must be really dense because after your help here and reading the attached link, I still do not get it.
I have added the the string value DVDSIZESAFTYMARGIN to the proper place in the registry. I have entered a value of 10 in the value box because you said to add about 10. Yet I open SVCD2DVD and it still says 4.37GB when "Fit To DVD" is selected. I know I must be doing something wrong. Please tell me, what value do I put into the registry value box to get a 4.36GB DVD as the final output?
Thanks,

well the default is 50MB so a value of "60" would be 10 more... If that is not the case just increase the value till you get the correct result.
