    Hi all, I'm using a JVC GR-D270U mini dv camera and I just got back from vacation and have noticed that i cannot hear the audio from all of the videos that i have recorded. All i hear is either a dull hum or a louder hum. Volume during recording was set at appropriate levels. This is the first time that it has happened. I used new tapes, then old tapes. I cleaned the heads. Still the same thing. Does anybody know what could be wrong or what i could do.

    Sounds like the mic or mic input is bad. Most likely time for the repair shop.
