When I open a video_ts folder in ffmpegX and I convert to avi (doing what the 'how to' from te site tells me to do), I only have an avi-file containing the first vob-file from the video_ts folder. How can I convert 6 vob-files in 1 avi-file?

    thank you for helping me

  2. Probably they are separate titles. Try to join them as indicated here, https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1056853#1056853

    Thanks Major,

    you wrote:
An unclean method to join files is the Unix "cat" command. It leaves header unchanged so issues may arise, but it can eventually work. The command to use in Terminal.app is the following (replace movie.vob to full path to your actual files, or drag and drop the files on the window to get their path).

    cat movie1.vob movie2.vob movie3.vob > movie.vob

But what is terminal.app and where can I find this? Do you mean 'open' ?

    Greetings

What do I need to do to compress them back down into a format Apples DVD player can understand, and in a way that Apples "play disk from last played position" works.
