    im sorry of it has been asked befor and if i cant ask this question on this site but here it goes i want to know if there is any software free based or even paying for that lets u make a copy of a movie u own, the full movie and the same menus. because i have a way to do it but it takes over 4hrs to bun i rip the dvd then use idvd and burn it

    Fast DVD Copy ($99.95) promises to do what you want. Previous versions were not a favorite around here; I haven't checked it recently. Current version has a good rating on VT, tho'. But you'll find that newer commercial discs may have more advanced copy protection and the copy software (all of 'em) has to catch up.

  4. The time it takes will be based on the source DVD. Here is what i use:
    MTR (Mac the Ripper) to rip the DVD, then DETOX (DVD2oneX) to compress the output of MTR and then Toast 7 to burn to a disc.

    Using the method above 95% of all i have done take about 40 min.

    Most of the time you can skip the compressing step and use toast 7 to burn to a DL disc if you wish this does not same a bunch of time (maybe 10 min) and the DL disc are expensive.
