Nero 7 Burn Error DVD Transcode Video Problem ??

hi

i have used nero 7 fine before, but got this error when using it today, when tryin to burn a avi file.

Unable to prepare data for recording: Prepare session failed: Transcoding of videos failed.

i think this was because the avi file is NTSC and im tryin to burn the dvd as PAL. How can i convert the avi file to PAL or get round this issue, as my dvd player only plays PAL dvds.

hi

i just tried playing a multi region NTSC dvd and it worked fine on the player.
does that mean the dvd burnt in nero as NTSC will work?
