go dvdplayer d640 that worked perfectly before and was put away for several months now with any dvd media inserted(even store bought movies) tray will k keep opening and closing.
go video support never answered , and i seee no firmware updates. any iddeas? thanks

Most often, it the door won't stay closed, it is a bad sensor. It could most likely be fixed fairly cheaply ($35-50), but a new player likely wouldn't cost much more.
