    what can i use to change the audio in a dvd to a better source?

    You're best bet is to recapture it in the first place at a higher bitrate. Assuming you still have the original source of course.

    And use pcm audio instead of ac3 or mp2 for maximum quality at the expense of disc space (you might have to lower video bitrate to accomodate the larger audio file).

    its a bootleg show ive got and the audio is terrible. I found a better audio source so i wanna be able to use the better audio.
